The clip is the point

A frog clip opens with one thumb and closes itself. No fiddling with a stiff bolt snap while a dog spins around your knees. The body is anodised aluminium alloy, and the ring behind it swivels a full circle so the rope stops twisting into a corkscrew on long walks.

Reflective on both faces

Reflective thread runs down the webbing, so headlights pick it up from either side. Useful on a pavement walk after dark, less useful in a field with no light source at all.

Padded handle

The handle loop is padded. If your dog lunges at a squirrel, the padding is what stands between the rope and a friction burn across your palm.
