Reading the 1.5" Stretch Nylon Belt

Part 01

Width does the work

A wider strap spreads load. If you hang anything off your belt, or you want it to hold the waistband of work trousers flat, the extra width is the reason to choose this over the narrower one.

Part 02

Same lever buckle

Quick release with a locking lever, in black, grey, coffee and coyote. The buckle passes through loops without being removed from the strap.

Part 03

Elastic weave

Stretch through the webbing, so the belt tracks your waist through the day rather than sitting at one fixed circumference.

Width is the whole decision. Everything else on this belt is the same as the narrow one.

Picking the right one

Measure the loops on the trousers you will wear it with. An inch and a half is a tight squeeze through some dress trousers and fine on jeans and work wear.

  • Jeans and work trousers: fine.
  • Slim dress trousers: measure the loop first.
